Drawing inspiration from various folklore creatures, I created a series of three distinct pyrography pieces.
Since it was my first time working with this medium, I experimented with different styles, wood types, and compositions for each piece. This exploration helped me capture the essence of these mythical beings while giving each artwork its own unique character and texture.

“When the last Moon is cast over the last Star of Morning, and the future is past without even the last desperate warning… then, look into the sky where, through the clouds, a path is formed. Look and see her how she sparkles, it’s the last Unicorn!”

This piece, created on plywood, features a unicorn framed by celestial motifs and seven of the eight phases of the moon. Inspired by the animated fantasy film The Last Unicorn, the design weaves together elements of mysticism and lunar symbolism to evoke the ethereal beauty and timelessness of the unicorn legend.
